“Around Town….with Linda Staunch”

“Around Town…..with Linda Staunch” has been a fixture on C-TV 10 Community Television in New Bern for many years. In August, 2003, the show was expanded to include the FOX 8-14 network with coverage in 8 Eastern North Carolina Counties (Craven, Carteret, Onslow, Pitt, Lenior, Beaufort, Pamlico and Jones). The program has attracted a growing audience of loyal viewers and has become a respected promoter of the eastern region.

Every month “Around Town” highlights newsworthy people, businesses and events right here in Eastern North Carolina. Steve Forbes, Nicholas Sparks, Curtis Strange, Dr. Nancy Snyderman, US Senator Elizabeth Dole, UNC President Emeritis, Bill Friday, and North Carolina Symphony’s conductor, Grant Llewellyn, are just a few of the notables who have been guests on the show. Local community leaders and intriguing issues and activities are also highlighted. In addition, viewers have been to special places and activities like watching sea turtles hatch, taking a hot air balloon ride, sailing on the Coast Guard’s tall ship, The Eagle, and exploring exotic Peru and exciting Africa. These are experiences folks can enjoy in the comfort of their own homes, which are well worth the journey. We invite you to become a regular viewer and discover for yourself what this unique show is all about.
